We’ve come up with two spice rubs and two chilli sauces, all of them made in small batches in the UK using only the highest quality ingredients. There’s a spicy grapefruit sauce and a green chilli and pineapple sauce, a warming, aromatic spice rub and a bright, herbaceous blend. They’ve been honed for the EGG and all its many modes – for grills and roasts, dirty cooking and low and slow – but can bring their magic to any kitchen.

For us, it all began with spicy chicken wings. Back in the 1970s, arcade store owner Ed Fisher imported some kamado-style barbecues from Japan alongside a batch of pinball machines. He used the barbecues to cook chicken wings outside his shop as a way of luring customers in, and they proved so popular that he switched his focus from selling games to designing grills – and Big Green Egg was born.

There are still few things better than messing your fingers and face with crispy, succulent chicken wings cooked in the heat and smoke of an EGG. All you need is the right spice rub and chilli sauce. That’s why when we came to create our own bespoke range of rubs and sauces, chicken wings were front of mind.

They’re versatile all-rounders that you’ll use again and again for a multitude of dishes. But all of them, in just about any combination, will make your chicken wings fly.
